The Aims of the Patient Participation Group

Would you like to have a say about the services provided at Blandford Medical Centre?

If so, the Blandford Patient Participation Group would like your help.

What is a PPG?

The PPG is a group that is open to all patients who are committed to supporting their GP practice in their strive for improvement and change to increase patient satisfaction.

How does it work?

The PPG comprises of volunteer patients, the Practice Manager and usually one or two clinical staff from the practice.

The PPG will meet at the practice on a regular basis to discuss positive changes and discuss constructive suggestions for improvement.

To discuss discuss action plans and monitor improvements.

The PPG will engage with local communities to ensure the PPG decisions are reflective of patients wishes across the community.
